Our thoughts become our reality. what and who we surround ourselves with can influence our Inner voice. we are what we listen to; music, podcasts, YouTube, books, poetry etc. can all be utilized to help promote problem solving, understanding, and self-awareness. Together, we can cultivate this skill.

Walk and Talk Therapy Sessions:

My office is across from the beautiful boardwalk and beaches of long beach. In my experience, people like to feel they are moving forward. I think this is part of why so many of my clients are enjoying Walk & Talk sessions as an alternative to sessions in my office -- with every step, we are literally moving forward. Combining walking and talking with therapy, clients often feel thoughts flow more freely. Nature is calming and restorative. Being by the ocean and incorporating a physical activity & grounding experience, into the therapeutic process, is an added bonus.

What is Walk and Talk Therapy?
It's the same services offered inside my office but we take it outside. Walk-and-talk therapy is a natural approach to emotional well-being with the added benefit of physical activity. walking provides a boost in mood and helps with mental clarity and creativity.

Where does Walk and Talk Therapy take place?
Sessions begin and end at the boardwalk. Where we will walk together along the boardwalk/beach.

What do I need to bring for Walk and Talk Therapy?
Just wear comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle if you'd like.

What if I schedule a Walk & Talk session but the weather is bad or I just don't feel like walking when my appointment comes up?
That's okay.  We can either stay in the office, or sit on the boardwalk/beach, if that's what you're feeling you need at the time of your appointment.  the office is adjacent to the boardwalk/beach, so if you decide you'd rather stay in the office, it's an easy adjustment to make.
